Base pay range $65.00/hr - $70.00/hr Overview This Sr Android Engineer position involves designing, building, deploying and maintaining the next generation of mobile applications. Your primary focus will be developing high-end mobile applications for various internal business customers. Responsibilities Design, build, deploy and maintain next generation android mobile applications. Develop high-end mobile applications for various internal business customers. Employ test-driven development (TDD). Collaborate with the design team for new application features. Identify and fix application bottlenecks and maintain the core code. Update applications published on the App Store. Ensure enterprise-grade performance of the application to specifications. Identify potential problems and resolve application bottlenecks. Maintain the code and atomization of the application. Design and implement application updates. Ensure quality and performance of the application to specifications. Proficient in code versioning tools including Git, Bitbucket. Familiarity with biometrics, push notifications, usage of Camera APIs, etc. Required skills / experience Bachelor's degree in computer science or master's in software engineering. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience. 5+ years of experience in Android Development using Kotlin and/or Java. Must have experience writing automated tests using frameworks like Appium. Desired skills / experience Experience with continuous integration and unit tests. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
