Job Requirements: Daycare Teacher

• Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required

• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with young children in a licensed daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting preferred

  • Familiarity with age-appropriate developmental milestones and learning activities

• Certifications:

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain before start date)

  • Ability to pass all required background checks and fingerprinting, as required by state regulations

• Skills and Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Patient, nurturing, and enthusiastic demeanor

  • Ability to manage classroom behavior and routines

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Team-oriented with a professional attitude

• Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to frequently bend, kneel, lift up to 40 lbs, and actively participate in play and learning activities

  • Capable of being on your feet for extended periods and engaging with children both indoors and outdoors

• Other:

  • Must meet all local and state licensing requirements for child care employees

  • Reliable transportation and consistent punctuality required
