Now Hiring: Director of Business Development - Troy, MI area
We’re seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to lead strategic growth initiatives and secure new business opportunities in the commercial asphalt paving industry . This role will drive revenue growth, expand market share, and build long-term client relationships with general contractors, developers, municipalities, and property managers.
What You’ll Do:
✔️ Develop and execute business development strategies to meet revenue goals
✔️ Build and maintain strong client relationships and secure high-value contracts
✔️ Collaborate with estimating, operations, and leadership teams on proposals and bids
✔️ Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
✔️ Mentor and lead business development staff
What We’re Looking For:
🔹 8–10+ years of business development, sales, or project management experience in construction or asphalt paving
🔹 Knowledge of concrete/asphalt paving processes, estimating, and project execution
🔹 Proven ability to secure new business and grow client accounts
🔹 Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
🔹 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred
