Duties:
1. Directs the activities of the Maintenance Department.
2. Communicates job assignments to employees and monitors their performance.
3. Establishes work schedules for department.
4. Develops, maintains, and controls procedures related to his/her areas of responsibility.
5. Over-sees preventative maintenance and purchasing activities of department.
6. Ensures that equipment and facilities are maintained and kept in top operating condition.
7. Hands-on ability with 480 volt electrical-three phase systems.
8. PLC abilities to troubleshoot and repair.
9. Ability to plan work with consideration to parts needed, tools required, technical manuals, safety steps for lock-out tag-out.
10. Experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems preferably FIIX.
11. Provides OJT and formal training as required to employees under his/her supervision
12. Works within the guidelines of the quality program, including drawings and procedures.
13. Insures good housekeeping in work area.
14. Reports problems or accidents to management immediately.
15. Considers safety on each job and abides by all company safety rules, policies, and procedures.
