We are seeking an experienced Senior Android Engineer to help us build and enhance our mobile apps while working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product innovation. Job Overview: We’re looking for a talented Senior Android Engineer with significant expertise in Java and Kotlin . In addition to your Android skills, experience in iOS development (especially Swift ) will be a huge advantage, as you'll collaborate across teams to ensure our mobile apps provide a seamless experience for both iOS and Android users. You will also have a strong background in building subscription-based mobile apps and a passion for delivering high-quality mobile experiences. Responsibilities: Lead the development and maintenance of high-quality Android applications. Collaborate closely with iOS and backend teams to deliver seamless, cross-platform experiences. Build and optimize subscription-based features, driving user acquisition and retention. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in Java and Kotlin for Android. Apply best practices in Swift to support the iOS development team. Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of mobile apps. Review code and mentor junior engineers to promote a culture of best practices and continuous learning. Qualifications: 5-10 years of professional experience in Android development with a focus on Java and Kotlin . Proven experience with subscription-based mobile apps (e.g., in-app purchases, recurring billing). Strong knowledge of Android development tools, including Android Studio and Gradle . Experience with Swift and familiarity with iOS development, enabling cross-platform collaboration. Solid understanding of mobile architecture, design patterns, and performance optimization. Familiarity with backend APIs, RESTful services, and integration of mobile applications with web services. A strong desire to create high-quality, user-focused mobile experiences. Nice to Have: Experience with React Native or other cross-platform frameworks. Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
