Roles and Responsibilities - Supervise inpatient teams composed primarily of pediatric residents, family medicine residents, and medical students.
- No non-teaching clinical service obligations.
- Call by phone from home on alternating nights while on service.
- Swing shifts distributed equitably among 9 hospitalists.
- Participate in quality and process improvement efforts.
- Engage in resident and medical student education in clinical and formal/didactic environments.
Education, Training, & Experience - MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics required; Board Eligible/Certified in Pediatric Hospital Medicine preferred.
- Ability to obtain an active medical license in the state of Tennessee.
- Resident Teaching Experience.

Children's Hospital at Erlanger Services - On-site Pediatric Trauma Team.
- 17-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
- 43 in-patient beds plus 2-bed EMU with over 5,000 admissions last year.
- Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with 64 beds.
- 32-bed Pediatric Emergency Department with over 40,000 visits each year.
